Join the Launch Team for the Tarot for Pregnancy Deck!

  • to receive a digital ARC of the deck before its June 13th release!

  • to help get the word out about a very cool, radically inclusive new tarot deck designed with queer, disabled, and BIPOC birthing folks at the center of its entire creation!

  • to help get this deck into the hands of the people who will feel seen by its imagery, and empowered in their own innate reproductive knowing by its message!

  • to help support a new revolutionary publishing imprint, Row House Publishing, that centers equitable pay for all its authors, and pushes marginalized voices to the front!

  • to be a very helpful thoughtful person that would be helping me out a lot!

“Sounds great, how can I help!?”

I was hoping you’d say that!

Here’s my ask, and what else you need to know:

Below are materials you can use to easily SHARE about the deck the week of its June 13th launch.

There is pre-written text available for you to copy and paste to use to talk about the deck, or you can feel free to speak to the deck from your own voice of experience with it, as you’ll have access to the digital arc before release!

There are also image descriptions and camelback hashtags included with each photo so you can copy and paste to easily help you make your posts accessible.

And that’s it! All you have to do is share about the deck the week leading up to and/or the week of it’s launch. Pre-orders are SO IMPORTANT for small authors and indie publishers. The “First Week of Sales” is what determines a book or deck’s longterm placements and rankings (so deciding what books get shown to more folks and which ones get buried!) Pre-orders leading up to June 13th, as well as that entire week of sales gets to count towards making this launch a success in a way that will allow it to get into the hands of the folks who deserve to be reminded of their personal power and the protection of their ancestral lineage while they’re navigating their reproductive experiences.

BONUS help that would be greatly appreciated! - Going to your favorite local bookstores and/or metaphyisical shops and requesting to order the deck through them (you don’t need to come pick it up, but it will demonstrate an interest and keep the store carrying the product!)

And once the deck is live after its launch of June 13th, I need you to REVIEW this baby! On Amazon, whether or not you bought it there, and whether or not you love amazon, it requires 15+ positive reviews for books to achieve visible placement. Plus future 🔮readers🔮 need to know your thoughts and resonances of the deck so they can know if it’s right for them!

Sample Copy Text you can use to talk about the deck when sharing (or feel free to write your own!):

“Tarot for Pregnancy offers a rare opportunity for readers to receive unique advice on pregnancy and birth specific to their current personal experience, instead of reading a whole pregnancy book cover to cover and assuming it’s all relevant to every pregnant person.”

“Kimberly Rodriguez's art is not only beautiful and ancestral but depicts body types, identities, and families that are rarely, if ever, seen in pregnancy books, to not just include and validate all pregnant people (diverse colors, shapes, genders, disabilities), but enhance all reader’s experiences of pregnancy through the simple act of seeing themselves represented in this light, facilitating a sense of belonging to welcome folks to the parenthood club.”

“Given the universal truth that we were all gestated and birthed - this particular angle on understanding reproductive health from both the parent and child’s perspectives is relevant to all audiences. Tarot for Pregnancy is an enjoyable read whether you’re currently pregnant or not. It is at home on the shelves of parents and mystics alike and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the impact our gestation and birth have on our personalities and ability to show up in our full humanity as adults.”

“Tarot for Pregnancy both the deck and the book by the same title, are both a culmination of the author, Brittany Carmona-Holt’s, years of experience as a thoughtful, poetic, and culturally critical writer, her budding career as a full-spectrum doula, and her natural talent and inclination for reading the cards in a genuinely supportive, trauma-informed, and life-enriching way.”

“Tarot for Pregnancy takes its place in an already rich landscape of reproductive justice works while always citing and honoring the essential Birthworkers fighting for reproductive justice and never claiming to stand alone in referential pregnancy texts. This book fills a spiritual void in the landscape of supportive pregnancy texts.”

Deck Description: “The Tarot for Pregnancy deck is for parents-to-be who want to tap into internal and ancestral wisdom on the journey to and through parenthood. Brittany Carmona-Holt is an intuitive tarot reader as well as a full-spectrum doula, marrying her two passions to offer a rare understanding of the birth journey and an esoteric guide to the life-altering experience of giving life. The archetypes of the tarot are brought to new light by artist and deck illustrator, Kimberly Rodriguez (IG: Poetagoddess), depicting folks along all stages of the reproductive continuum, will many body types, and identities represented to not just include folks marginalized by oppressive systems, but to center them. Tarot for Pregnancy is the perfect deck for any soon-to-be (or already) parent—and a baby shower gift that will keep on giving. Written for both the amateur tarot fan and the initiated birth activist, Tarot for Pregnancy offers a rare, niche but ever-relatable lens on the ancient archetypes of the tarot.
